Step 1 - Initial Diagnosis
Liaise with the Midas team to book an appointment with a Resource Efficiency Broker. During the meeting you and the broker discuss and evaluate potential areas of resource savings, focussing on areas involving energy, waste and water costs.
Step 2 Report
Following the initial diagnosis your Resource Efficiency Broker will prepare a tailored report, recommending appropriate actions to reduce resource/environmental costs. The report will also detail appropriate service providers to implement the action. This could be a national or regional programme or for more specific actions, an external consultant.
Step 3 Service
Following the report you decide which actions your company would like to take forward. Your Midas broker will then work alongside your company to contact the recommended service providers, generate a scope of work and receive appropriate quotes for the work, if applicable.
Step 4 Funding
Once you have decided on a service provider, inform your Midas broker who will send you confirmation of your funding there are no forms to fill out. Once you receive the confirmation letter you are free to start the project. Once the project has been completed and you have received the report, pay the service provider in full and then invoice Midas for funding amount directly. This will be sent back within five working days of receiving the invoice.
Step 5 - Aftercare
Following receipt of the report the Midas team will help interpret the report findings and help establish an appropriate action plan to ensure that feasible recommendations are implemented and resource savings are made. This project management support is tailored to your individual needs and will help your company overcome any problems. The aftercare has no timescales and can also include helping to source funding, evaluating project justification and sourcing appropriate contractors.
